We will announce the scholarship awards by November 30, 2009. The award ceremony is tentatively scheduled for December 15, 2009, place and time to be determined.

Students are expected to fill out the application form in its entirety. Please follow the instructions carefully. All required documents listed in the instruction must be submitted along with the application. CEE Foundation reserves the right not to process any incomplete applications. When we receive the application package, we will notify the applicant whether the package is complete or additional documents are needed. The Applicant must, in good faith, provide them to CEE Foundation no later than October 31, 2009.

General Scholarship Fund

Fund that is used to award to students who pursue higher education in any area of study will be categorized as a general fund. The fund is raised from the public at large. The donors do not specify how the fund is used.

Special Scholarship Fund

Fund that is used to award to students who pursue higher education in any specific area of study as specified by the donors. The funds are raised from individuals or organizations. It can be used for that purpose only. Donors who wish to sponsor students of their choice may do so through the special scholarship fund.

Education Development Fund

Fund that is awarded for the development of educational institutions, including facilities, services, and programs (new school, library, dormitory, school supply, computer literacy program, vocational training, etc.). The fund is raised from individuals and/or organizations who specify how the fund is used.

The CEE Foundation has expanded its educational development program into an after-hour English school where English is taught. This program is currently a one-year pilot program at Ek Phnom, Battambang province and it will be funded for year 2009-2010. The pilot program is an assistant to and partnership with Khmer Center for Development (KCD).
